Events for the birthday of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko were held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Events dedicated to the 209th anniversary of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko were held for students majoring in “Special Education”, “Preschool Education”, “Primary Education”, “Primary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature” by the Department of Philological Disciplines at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Students remembered the words of the outstanding poet and fighter “Fight – you will win! God help you! For you is the truth, for you is the glory and the holy will!”, which resonate in the heart of every Ukrainian today.

Event participants listened to stories about interesting biographical facts of the famous Kobzar, read his most relevant poems.

Those present noted that Taras Shevchenko was a true patriot, his work is as relevant as ever.

Let us remember Shevchenko’s prophetic words, read and study his works, and honor his memory.
