Celebration of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday

On March 9, celebration of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
A small flash mob was organized by university students together with the Primary Trade Union Organization, during which the participants read Kobzar’s poems and made a portrait of him from several separate parts.
After the flash mob, employees and students of the university went to the monument to Taras Hryhorovych in the city of Lubny, where they solemnly laid flowers as a sign of memory. During the celebrations near the monument, university students read poems by the famous Kobzar and played a composition on the bandura.
