Guest lecture

On March 7, a guest lecture “Vegetative, Asexual and Sexual Reproduction of Plants” was held as part of the exchange of pedagogical experience of the departments of natural sciences at the Faculty of Natural Science.

The speaker was Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Crop Production and Horticulture of the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University V. G. Mykolaichuk. The lecture was organized thanks to the assistance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Biology and Agronomy, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Director of the Luhansk Nature Reserve of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine L. P. Borovyk.

Bachelor’s and master’s students, teachers of the faculty’s departments took part in the event.

The lecture by V.G. Mykolaichuk was marked by a high level of presentation of the material, was saturated with interesting examples and facts about the life cycles and methods of reproduction of plants of various systematic groups and was accompanied by a presentation. Periodically, a lively discussion arose between the teacher and the students regarding the discussion of the material.
