Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship

The Ukrainian Men’s and Women’s Weightlifting Championship ended in Transcarpathia.

Athletes will compete for three days until March 5. During this time, about 200 athletes from 22 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. Luhansk Region was represented at the competition by 5 athletes, 3 of them students of the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

Mark Levanzov, 2nd-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sport” in the weight category of 81 kg took the overall 2nd place with a result of 304 kg (jerk 131 kg, push 173 kg).

Tetiana Andriiashchenko, 4th-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sport” in the weight category up to 76 kg, took the overall 4th place with a result of 160 kg (second place in the jerk 71 kg, push 89 kg).

Viacheslav Ktitarev, 1st-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” in the weight category of 81 kg took overall 8th place with a result of 275 kg (jerk 128 kg, push 147 kg).
