Honorary titles of the university

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University awarded the honorary titles “Honorary Doctor of Sciences of LTSNU” and “Honorary Employee of LTSNU”.

On March 1, 2023, on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the university’s foundation, during the solemn meeting of the Academic Council, based on the results of a secret vote, honorary titles were awarded.

The honorary title “Honorary Doctor of Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” is traditionally awarded for special services to the university.

In 2023, this honorary title was awarded to:

– Chairman of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, Chairman of the Board of Rectors of the Kyiv University Center, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture Petro Kulikov for supporting the image of the university, long-term financial and economic support of the higher education institution;

– Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the city of Batumi (Georgia) Rostom Nakashidze for helping to establish international relations of the university, supporting its international image;

– Head of the Department of Staffing of the Private and Sergeant Forces of the Military Unit A0987, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Kryvobok, for assisting in the replenishment of the contingent of education applicants, assistance in patriotic education of young people, and improving the image of the university.
