A new international grant between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation
The G-202301-69860 grant agreement was signed between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CDRF), which aims at conducting educational activities for students and teachers in the field of information security and cyber defense.
Within the signed memorandum of mutual understanding between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation, the next step was made-the G-202301-69860 grant agreement “Promoting the Introduction of the E-Training Course on Cybergigiene” was signed.
The work on the agreement has been started from February 7, 2023 and has already entered the first stage of implementation.
CRDF Global, together with leading specialists in the United States and Ukraine, has developed an e -training course on cyberhygiene for students of non-computer specialties. The main purpose of the course is to raise students’ awareness of cyber threats and improve their cybergigiene skills. Cybergigiene e -training course consists of 11 modules and covers approximately 5 hours of study time in general. The course is placed on Cybereducation.org.
Within the framework of this grant, the staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University will develop a plan for promoting the course among students and will ensure the completion of the course by students.
Thus, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University will be responsible for all tasks related to the advance and launch of the course, a set of students, monitoring of students’ registration and conducting a survey of participants.
The performance of the functions of the contact person for requests from students/administration of the university, reporting on the results before “CRDF Global” is entrusted Hennadii Mohylnyi -director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies.
