Teachers of the ER IPES held guest lectures at the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

On February 23, the teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Olena Otravenko and Associate Professor Olena Shynkarova held guest lectures at the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy of the Kharkiv Regional Council (as part of the cooperation agreement dated November 24, 2020) with graduates of the 1st-2nd courses of the specialty 017 “Physical Culture and Sport”, specializations “Fitness” under the educational program “Physical Culture and Sport (Fitness)”. The discipline “Theory and Methodology of the Selected Sport” in the 2nd year and the educational component “Fitness Technologies (by areas)” in the 1st year.

The teachers shared their experience of conducting classes: “Methodology of teaching cheerleading with school-age children” (Olena Otravenko) and “Fitness technologies. Classification of basic steps according to the principle of changing the leading leg (Olena Shynkarova).

The students were happy and very active. Olena Shkola, Professor, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Improvement emphasized the importance of such classes, thanked for cooperation.

The further work was aimed at holding compatible webinars for students.
