Scientific unity

A scientific unity of teachers and students of educational institutions of Ukraine took place at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University. 

On February 16-17, 2023, on the initiative of the Department of Ukrainian Language, Literature and Teaching Methods of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and History, the 5th All-Ukrainian student-teaching scientific and practical Internet conference “Current Trends and Prospects of Language and Literature Education in Ukraine” was held at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University. It which became another step towards improving the quality of training of highly qualified specialists who are able to creatively apply innovative scientific achievements in practical activities.

The Department of Philological Disciplines of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University became the co-organizer of the event.

The conference took place in difficult times for the state and for all of us, when all of Ukraine is rallying around the common misfortune and desire for Victory, unites in spirit and strength to demonstrate our strength and indomitability. We are proud of the long-term cooperation of our teams, joint scientific and creative projects, exchange of work experience, close contacts of our student communities.

The work of the conference was carried out in the following areas: current problems of modern linguistics; traditions and innovation in Ukrainian literature; foreign literature in the space of culture and civilization; actual problems of teaching methods of philological disciplines. More than 100 high school students and teachers from Poland (Warsaw University) and Ukraine (Glukhiv, Sumy, Uman, Nizhyn, Kharkiv, Poltava, Lubny, etc.) exchanged scientific experience.

The deputy for scientific, international and grant activities of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology spoke with a welcoming speech from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko  National University. She presented the results of cooperation between friendly departments, drew attention to the importance of such contacts for teachers and students. Under the leadership of the teachers of the Department of Philological Disciplines, the reports of the bachelor’s students and master’s students majoring in “Elementary education”, “Elementary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, “Preschool Education” were prepared. 

We express our sincere gratitude to our colleagues for the invitation to become co-organizers of this conference, which is extremely relevant in the context of the renewal of the educational system in Ukraine. The holding of joint conferences and scientific educational events has a positive effect on increasing the effectiveness of scientific research by the teams of our educational institutions, and will contribute to the introduction of modern methods and technologies in the field of philological education into work practice.
