Open guest lecture

An open guest lecture for students was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
February 16, 2023, the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology hosted another open guest lecture on the topic “Models of Community Resilience” for students majoring in “Social Work” of the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” which was conducted by Natalia Valevska, Communications Manager of the Public Organization “EdCamp Ukraine”.
Students continued to form additional professional knowledge on identifying personal resilience, defining and expanding their own resilience zone, resilience models, and also had the opportunity to practice the techniques of “Reading”, “Grounding” and “Resourcefulness”.
Students were especially interested in information about explicit memory and how memory works when a person receives a traumatic experience.
The Department of Social Pedagogy expresses its sincere gratitude to Natalia Valevska for the extremely useful material, which was presented in an interactive, accessible and modern way. We continue to form a zone of stability for future specialists in the social sphere! We are waiting for new meetings!
