Meeting of the Student Council at the ER IPMIT

On February 14, a meeting of the Student Council was held at the ER IPMIT, where the results of activities in the first semester and plans for the second were discussed.

On February 14, 2023, a meeting of the Student Council was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies, in a mixed format, some of the applicants were in the computer laboratory, and the rest joined using Google Meet.

During the meeting, the Student Council listened to the reports of the student director and other members of the Council about the work during the first semester. It was determined that significant progress has been made in improving the process of student learning at the institute. The Council emphasized that student organizations at the institute took responsibility for many events and active participation in the dialogue with the institute’s administration.

Also, the student director Oleksandr Furman announced the results of an independent survey on the study process. In general, the students are satisfied with their studies, but certain points need to be improved, and the offers of studentships will be forwarded to the directorate.

After summarizing the results of the first semester, the Student Council discussed plans for the second semester, regarding increasing the level of interactions between students of various specialties, such as scientific seminars and conferences, sports competitions and joint holding of student holidays. Attention was also paid to ways of organizing assistance to the Armed Forces.

The Student Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies hopes that the second semester of this academic year will be full of good events and productive in terms of learning for all students.
