Open lecture at the ER IPP

On February 14, an open lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology by Maria Pochynkova, a teacher of the Department of Philological Disciplines.

The topic “Art of Persuasion” is presented within the scope of the discipline “Oral and Written Communication and Academic Rhetoric” for the first-year bachelor’s students of the educational programs of all specialties of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Among those present were the Chairman of the Academic Council of the University, Professor Vitalii Kurylo, Acting Head of the Education Quality Department Margarita Kravchenko, representatives of the Department of Philological Disciplines, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism, Natural Sciences, etc.

The lecture was held at a high academic level in accordance with the principle of student-centeredness. During the lecture, the traditional form of presenting the material was successfully combined with effective multimedia support. It is especially worth noting the high activity of students who took an active part in the discussion of debatable issues.

One of the tasks of the lecture was to interest the students in the importance of mastering the art of persuasion, and the lecturer was able to successfully implement this both through the presentation of the material and through his own example.

We note that such events are interesting and useful for both students and teachers. We would like to wish Maria Pochynkova further success in her scientific and educational activities, and we hope that such events will take place more often in a peaceful country.
