Digital transformation of scientific activity in higher education institutions

Lecturers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions took part in all-Ukrainian events on digital transformation of scientific activity in higher education institutions.

Lecturers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Management, Administration and Postgraduate Education participated in a number of events dedicated to the problem of digitalization of scientific activities of higher education institutions in Ukraine.

On January 31, 2023, they took part in the round table “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE CONDITIONS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION”. The purpose of the event was to discuss the experience of using digital services and e-infrastructures in higher education institutions, consider the features of using open science tools, the features of digitization of scientific activities, and exchange experiences. Representatives of the Directorate of Science and Innovation and the Directorate of Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine participated in the round table; Amazon AWS; URAN Association; ERAM (IT company partner of Amazon AWS): executors of the OCRE project (Open cloud resources for science and education, the project was founded with the assistance of GEANT and the EU); managers and employees of higher education institutions and scientific institutions of Ukraine.

On February 9, 2023, lecturers participated in the online presentation of the National Portal of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation. The portal was created to provide informational and advisory support to Ukrainian scientists and innovators who wish to participate in international scientific, technical and innovative projects.

The event was attended by: the acting director of the Ukrainian Scientific Center for the Development of Information Systems and Technologies, head of the expert group on integration into the European research space of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, executive director of the National Research Fund of Ukraine, national coordinator of Cost in Ukraine, head of the expert group on innovation development of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, managers and employees of higher education institutions and scientific institutions of Ukraine.

The speakers spoke about the participants with the possibilities, the purpose of the portal, the main programs of international cooperation presented on the portal (Horizon Europe, Euratom, Life. Cost) and prospective directions of the portal’s development.
