Help for the university
26.1.2023
On January 25, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received help within the framework of the European Union project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”.
In February 2022, after the start of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University became one of the first universities of the state to suffer from Russian aggression. Due to the occupation and hostilities, a significant part of the material and technical base of the university was lost, and the educational institution itself was forced to evacuate for the second time. Currently, Luhansk National University continues its activities in the Poltava region in the cities of Poltava, Myrhorod and Lubny.
In order to improve the material and technical support of the university and the possibility of its functioning to the full extent, within the framework of the European Union project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”, a package of assistance was received, which included: office equipment, laptops, computers together with all the necessary peripherals for them, portable charging stations, network equipment, equipment for photo and video recording and others.
The assistance received from European partners will help strengthen the material and technical base of the university and accelerate the process of integrating the university into the new community of our country.
