Unity for Victory

Students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the connection studio for the Unity Day of Ukraine “Unity for Victory”.

On the eve of the Unity Day of Ukraine, the online event “Unity for the Sake of Victory” was held, which was organized by the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University. Representatives of the Academy of Recreational Technologies and Law (Lutsk) and the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” took part in the work of the connection studio.

The Acting Director addressed the participants of the event with a welcome speech. The Rector of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University Natalia Falko, Deputy Mayor of Melitopol for the activities of council executive bodies Mykhailo Semikin, Rector of the Academy of Recreational Technologies and Law, Deputy of the Volyn Regional Council Lyudmila Stasiuk, head of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Medical Diagnostics of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Oleg Vinogradov, as well as the Associate Professor of the MDPU, a captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Siver”.

During the event, Andrii Protsenko, curator of national and patriotic education of youth of the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Andrii Protsenko, participant of the social actions for the “United Ukraine” Day of Sobornosti, graduate of MDPU Regina Zaretska, a second (master’s) level graduate in the specialty “Educational Pedagogical Sciences » Yevhenii Raspopov of the Academy of Recreational Technologies and Law, student of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the specialty “Sociology” of the MDPU Alona Reshetnikova.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented by Albina Sotnyk, a student of the II year of the specialty “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy”, the head of the Student Council of the National Institute of Physical Education and Sports, Albina Sotnyk, who in her speech congratulated those present on the 104th anniversary of the proclamation of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic, spoke about the organization of the educational process at the university after the evacuation to the Poltava region and the volunteer activities of students and teachers of the National Institute of Physical Education and Sports. Albina concluded her speech with the following words: “Even in such a difficult time, we do not stop, we do not lose hope, but we continue to study and work. And even in the dark we see the light of hope and do not give up. Because we are students of the glorious Shevchenko University, because we are Ukrainians – indomitable in spirit, ready to always go to the end and help the needy in difficult times!”
