Training on the preparation of grant applications

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences is actively searching for grant proposals.

In order to increase the effectiveness of this direction, Natalia Matsai, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and Iryna Kyrpychova, head of the faculty’s scientific and grant activity department, successfully completed the course “Development of Skills in Writing Grant Applications” organized as part of the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine” and received certificates on professional development.

The training lasted from October 19 to December 7, 2022. During the course, the participants deepened their knowledge of grant opportunities, grant search algorithms and their variability, detailed the issue of implementing an idea into the goals of a grant application, budget formation, and many other important aspects that depend on obtaining a positive result from a grant project.

The training was based on studying practical examples and completing tasks. Group training has ended, but cooperation with program trainers continues in the format of individual consultations based on the own projects of the participant teams.

The staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences is sincerely grateful to the entire team of professional trainers of the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine” for the interesting and useful experience. We hope for further fruitful cooperation. Together for victory!
