Meeting of the Academic Council at the ER IEB

Recently, a meeting of the Academic Council was held remotely at the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.
The Director of the Institute Valerii Khmel opened the meeting. He addressed all the members of the Academic Council of the Institute with a congratulatory speech and opened the meeting by announcing the agenda.
The following issues were considered on the agenda:
- about the end of the 1st semester
- about the readiness of master’s theses for defense
- about the scientific work of teachers
- about social humanitarian and vocational guidance work.
After listening to and discussing the report of the Deputy for Educational Work, Olena Boiko, about the educational activities of the institute in the first semester, the Academic Council noted that all participants of the educational process work in a coordinated manner and, as a result, have good results.
Heads of departments spoke about the readiness to defend the qualification papers of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the 2nd year of study. The works will be defended between January 23 and January 28, 2023.
Yehor Chebotarov reported on the main results and directions of research work of the institute’s departments for 2022. He spoke about the state and prospects of the publication of scientific literature in publications included in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science.
Yulia Butenko reported on the social and humanitarian work carried out and the progress of the career guidance work in the first semester of 2022-2023 with students. Work plans for the next six months were discussed and approved together with those present.
