“IPES Mister and Missis 2016”

On February 11 the Institute of Physical Education and Sports conducted a contest “IPES Mister and Missis 2016” dedicated to Saint Valentine’s Day.

Among special guests there were the Head of Kreminna District Council – Volodymyr Mykhailovych Prokopenko, Head of Fitness Center “Olimp” – Yurii Volodymyrovych Ishchenko, Assistant of People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vitalii Semenovych Kurylo – Volodymyr Mykhailovych Kladko, Head of the Department for Youth and Sports of Luhansk Regional Civil-Military Administration, Olympic Bronze Prize-Winner Iryna Viktorivna Yanovych.

The holiday was opened by the Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Yurii Mykhailovych Poluliashchenko.

Four beautiful girls Olena Zinova, Polina Menzhynska, Valeriiy Ryzhkova and Svitlana Shcherbak and four courageous students Oleksii Shyshatskyi, Serhii Viter, Vladyslav Bondarenko and Illia Habora were competing for the honorary titles “Mister” and “Missis” of IPES 2016.

Event program included such parts as “Greeting”, “Sport Defile”, “Creative Competition”, “Evening Dress Defile” and “Intelligent Competition”. There were not so many contests but the participants had to prepare well. Believe it or not but the contest was not a kind of competing. Quite the opposite, it was a holiday of youth unity and friendship.

Also the guests enjoyed the performances by the students of College of Culture and Arts. Olena Yarova and Mariia Semionova presented their concert number “Contrast”.

The designated judges included:

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associated Professor Olena Viktorivna Otravenko, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associated Professor Anatolii Pylypovych Poltavskyi, Deputy Director for Socio-Humanitarian Work Oleksandr Mykhailovych Brusak and member of student government, the second-year student Ivan Kramarenko.

All participants were awarded with souvenirs. People’s Choice Award was presented to the first-year student of “Human Health” Svitlana Shcherbak. The most beautiful couple of the first-year students of “Physical Education” Illia Habora and Olena Zinova won in the nomination “IPES Mister and Missis 2016”. They obtained prizes, banners and holiday fireworks!
