III International Conference “Natural Sciences: Projects, Research, Prospects”
18.12.2022
The 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Natural Sciences: Projects, Research, Prospects”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the FNS, took place.
Despite the war, the Faculty of Natural Sciences successfully organized and held the traditional International Conference “Scientific Achievements: Projects, Research, Prospects” on issues of natural, agricultural sciences and education (natural sciences).
This year, the conference was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our Faculty of Natural Sciences, which will be celebrated in March 2023. The staff of the faculty hoped to meet the participants of the conference – friends, colleagues, partners within the walls of the university, but, unfortunately, due to the war, the university is not within its walls today, in the second forced evacuation in the Poltava region in the city of Myrhorod. In connection with the aggravation of the situation throughout Ukraine in recent weeks, the conference was organized online. Applications for participation in the conference were submitted by educators from universities of Ukraine, scientists of institutes, employees of state institutions, teachers of foreign institutions of higher education from 8 countries of the world. The work of the conference lasted two days and included a plenary meeting, sectional meetings, and a final plenary meeting.
The guests came to the opening of the plenary session: Rostom Nakashidze, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Batumi (Georgia), a graduate of the faculty, Natalia HYRKA, head of the Myrhorod District Council; Antonina NIKYTCHENKO, head of the executive committee of the Myrhorod City Council; and Tetiana KOLYBELNYK, head of the Education Department of the Myrhorod City Council.
The work of the conference began with words of thanks to our Defenders and commemoration of the fallen Heroes-Defenders, civilians of Ukraine who died in the war with Russia, with a moment of silence. The organizing committee thanked all the participants who joined the fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by making a donation – an organizational contribution (the report will be published on the university’s website).
