Participation in the International Conference

The teachers of the Department of the Ukrainian language took part in the work of the International Scientific Conference “Integrative Linguistics: Language Cognition in Time”.

On December 8, the Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine hosted the International Scientific Conference “Integrative Linguistics: Language Cognition in Time”, in which teachers of the Ukrainian Language Department of our university took an active part.

At the beginning of the plenary session, the director of the Ukrainian Language Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Pavlo Hrytsenko, greeted everyone present and noted: “The dominant scientific meeting should be a certain ideology: why are we gathering? And further: what result would we like to achieve? The current situation convinces that scientists need to organize around one problem. What is expected of our research and conferences? – Novelties and actualities. Therefore, it became necessary to pay attention to the dynamics of the stylistic architecture of modern texts.”

More than 70 participants volunteered to participate in the conference. Several panel discussions were planned during the conference. In the panel discussion “Transformation of styles and genres of the Ukrainian literary language”, the head of the Ukrainian Language Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Associate Professor Oksana Kleschova, took part with the report “Linguostylistics of the Modern Song Text”.
