“Methodology of Psychological and Pedagogical Research”

December 7, an open guest lecture on the topic “Methodology of Psychological and Pedagogical Research” was helf for students majoring in “Social Work” of the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”. 

The lecture was conducted by Olena Mykolaivna Vasylenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Khmelnytskyi National University.

It shold be noted that, despite the energy “blackout” in most of the population centers of our country, students in the pursuit of new knowledge found an opportunity to join the conference and, and despite everything, the meeting took place.

During the video conference, the lecturer revealed the essence of the concepts “method”, “scientific method”, “methodology”, “scientific research”; discussed with students the main methods of theoretical and empirical level of scientific research; and determined the specifics of the application of each of the specified methods during scientific research.

Summing up, Olena Mykolaivna emphasized the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills of various levels of scientific research work by each student, as this is a qualification characteristic of a future specialist in social work, social pedagogy and practical psychology.

After listening to the theoretical material, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and talk with the guest lecturer.
