Scientific seminar “Academic Integrity – the Key to Quality Education”

On November 30, the Faculty of Natural Sciences held a scientific seminar “Academic Integrity – the Key to Quality Education”.
The speaker and organizer was Iryna Kyrpychova, associate professor of the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology. The meeting is devoted to issues of academic culture, which is based on the principles of honesty, real learning, justice, trust and mutual respect of all participants in the academic process, capable of forming a society capable of overcoming crises and successfully developing. After all, academic integrity contributes to the effectiveness of the education system, which provides real knowledge and skills, not just documents about obtaining an education.
The implementation of the principles of academic integrity means that in the process of study and research, students, teachers and scientists must use, first of all, the principles of honest work and study.
During the seminar, the applicants got to know about the university regulations and procedures regarding academic integrity and practiced with case situational tasks.
