“Mykola’s Workshop”

“Mykola’s Workshop” has traditionally started work at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. 

According to the long-standing tradition, the student self-government of the Faculty of Natural Sciences started the work of the “Mykola’s Workshop” on the manufacture of amulets – Angels for the Guardians.

During the workshop, representatives of the student self-government of the Faculty offer everyone who wants to make amulets of the Angel from paper/fabric/other materials. Each Little Angel has a greeting card with sincere words of gratitude and warm wishes to our dear Defenders. Charms will be handed over to our Defenders with volunteers on the front line.

This year, it was decided to involve the administration, teachers and pupils of general secondary education institutions of the Myrhorod community in the work of the “Mykola’s Workshop”, on the territory of which the Faculty of Natural Sciences was located from June 2022. The purpose of holding the action together with pupils is patriotic education of youth, respect for the Defenders of our state. This year, during the war in our country, the campaign is held under the slogan “Together for VICTORY!”

According to the tradition,  the first talismans were made by the Rector of the University Olena KARAMAN, the Dean of our Faculty, Nataliia MATSAI, and the faculty member of the student self-government. Tetiana KOLIBELNYK, head of the education department of the Myrhorod City Council, department employees, principals, deputy principals, teachers of gymnasiums and schools of Myrhorod joined the making of charms.
