Joint event of the IPP and the IHIRSPS
25.11.2022
Recently, a joint event was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology and the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Social and Political Sciences.
Viktoriia Stepanenko – the Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology congratulated the first-year students and introduced the lecturer of the online lecture – Oleksandr Naboka, head of the Department of Ukrainian History.
The Article 20 of the Constitution of Ukraine defines that the state symbols of Ukraine are the State Flag of Ukraine, the State Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the State Anthem of Ukraine. The State Flag of Ukraine is a flag made of two equally sized horizontal stripes of blue and yellow colors. The large State Coat of Arms of Ukraine is established taking into account the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the coat of arms of the Zaporizhzhia Army by a law adopted by at least two-thirds of the constitutional composition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The main element of the large State Coat of Arms of Ukraine is the Emblem of the Princely State of Volodymyr the Great (small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine). The National Anthem of Ukraine is a national anthem to the music by M. Verbytskyi.
Oleksandr Viktorovych approached the lecture in his classy style and talked about the state symbols of Ukraine in the style of “Historical Detective”. He offered interesting historical hypotheses and his personal opinion.
The lecture was very lively, students asked interesting questions, and an exciting discussion began. These events will continue to be held with joint efforts.
