Participation in the conference “CORROSION-2022”

The Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education took part in the XVI International Conference “CORROSION-2022”.

Reports at the XVI International Conference “Problems of Corrosion and Corrosion Protection of Materials” were grouped by scientific directions, which cover both fundamental aspects of corrosion and corrosion-mechanical destruction of materials, as well as modern developments of new corrosion-resistant materials, coatings and inhibitors corrosion to protect industrial equipment. This is the 490th event of the European Corrosion Federation.

Links to online broadcasts took place on the ZOOM platform of the meetings of the “Corrosion-2022” conference and were available for three days while the conference was taking place.

In addition to a number of domestic scientists, foreign scientists from Germany, Poland, Mexico, Belgium, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the USA, Brazil, Italy, Spain, China and Israel took part in the conference.

From the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education, Associate Professor Valerii Oleksandrovych Kolesnikov, Ph.D., took part in the work of the conference.

He delivered a report: “Study of corrosion and physical-mechanical properties of degraded steels of power equipment, of that have been exposed to hydrogen-containing media”.

The report was accompanied by a detailed presentation and aroused the interest of scientists. The speaker answered the questions of the conference participants.
