“I draw for the sake of peace” – awarding ceremony for the winners

Teachers and students of the ER ICA were invited to the awarding ceremony of the winners of the charity project dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom.
On November 21, the Poltava Center for Culture and Leisure held an awarding ceremony for the winners of the children’s drawing competition for IDPs “My City of Victory”, which was held as part of the charity project “I draw for the sake of peace”.
This project was created with the aim of developing children’s drawing skills, as well as giving children the opportunity to contribute to the victory and help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The best drawings of displaced children depicting their hometowns will be printed in the calendar.
The event was attended by project participants, parents, partners and simply caring citizens of Poltava and guests of the city. On the stage, the guests saw modern bright performances by Poltava artists, and in the hall an exhibition of drawings and thematic photo zones awaited them. A charity auction of the first signal copy of the calendar was also held, the proceeds will be sent to help the Armed Forces.
At the awarding ceremony, Iryna Prodan, Acting Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts, received a gratitude from the Poltava Mayor, and Nataliia Digtiar, Head of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts, received a certificate from the Department of Youth and Family of the Poltava City Council for fruitful cooperation in the implementation of the charity project “I draw for the sake of peace” and conducting it at a high level master classes for children of internally displaced persons. Also the students majoring in “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration”, who took part in master classes, were invited to the concert.
After the concert, everyone could leave a donation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and make a pre-order on the calendar. All proceeds from its sale will be used to purchase radios and drones for our defenders.
