“The Language and Literature (Japanese, English)” Educational Programme Guarantor Meeting

“The language and literature (Japanese, English)” educational programme guarantor meeting with students was held at the Department of Oriental Languages.

On November 11, the guarantor of the educational program “Language and Literature (Japanese, English)”, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor of the Department of Oriental Languages, Yuliya Malakhova, met with students of the 1st-4th years students and teachers of the Department of Oriental Languages of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Yuliya Malakhova prepared a presentation on academic mobility and informed all those present with the opportunities and advantages it provides. In addition, attention was paid to the issue of individual learning trajectory in order to familiarize first-year students with the possibilities of free choice of subjects. During the discussion, students of senior courses shared their experience in the procedure of choosing subjects and which subjects they chose themselves.

Guarantor also reminded the need of observing the principles of academic integrity in the learning process and scientific papers. She did not leave without attention issues related to the educational process, the importance of openness and communication between students, the guarantor of the program and the advisor for the purpose of solving current issues and further improving the educational program.

In general, the meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere. Students and teachers shared their opinions and actively participated in the discussion.
