On November 16, there was an online meeting of students of the ER IPP with the deputy commander of the security company for moral and psychological support.
Today, female military personnel have the opportunity to take a direct part in the development of the new army, in its modernization, to master military professions and specific functionality where, until recently, it was difficult to imagine women. In wartime, they are involved in a wide range of military tasks and combat operations. They have equal access to a military career — while having the same amount of responsibility as men during military service.
On November 16, 2022, there was an online meeting of the students of the ER IPP of the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” with the deputy commander of the guard company for moral and psychological support, senior lieutenant – Ms. Inna. During the presentation, she told the students about the events of 2014, which had to be experienced in the ATO zone, about the courage and heroism of Ukrainian defenders in 2022, about the ardent desire to return peace to our land. She emphasized that “today it is an honor to serve the Motherland, my people. I want to protect my family, loved ones, friends. I know where I am and why. In fact, this is exactly the profession – according to the calling of the heart and soul.”
Ms. Inna’s speech aroused great interest among students. They heard a lot of interesting information about the advantages of military service under the contract, about the main social and material benefits. After the meeting, the participants asked questions to which they received comprehensive answers. The senior lieutenant urged the students to choose a military profession in the future, to be brave and courageous, not to be afraid to do military service and protect their home, their relatives, Ukraine.
Communication with the applicants took place in a relaxed atmosphere. Sincere words of thanks to the military for loyalty, service to Ukraine and its protection were expressed by the Director of the Institute and Students. We hope that such measures will contribute to the formation of the young generation’s readiness to defend Ukraine, the development of the desire to acquire military professions, to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a special type of public service, increase interest in the heroic past of the state and the present, and instill love for the Motherland.
