Meeting with a stakeholder

A meeting was held at the Department of Oriental Languages with IT specialist and entrepreneur E. Smola.

On November 17, the Department of Oriental Languages hosted a meeting of students and IT specialist, entrepreneur E. Smola. Mr. Smola has been working in the IT field for more than 15 years, has extensive experience in working and cooperating with both foreign and domestic companies.

Yevhen introduced the applicants to the peculiarities of the work of translators in the field of IT, revealed the prospects for the development of professional skills and abilities, and also talked about the main problems that a translator who fulfills orders for IT companies may face with, gave good advice on current industries and future job opportunities.

At the end of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions, to which Yevhen answered. He wished students to succeed in their studies and professional development.

Summarizing the results of the meeting, we agreed on further cooperation and discussed the prospects of translation practice at his company.
