Online event “Stand with Ukraine on the educational front”

Representatives of the Council of Young Scientists joined the online event “Stand with Ukraine on the educational front” by Progresylni and the Office of Scientist Support.

Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Students, Lecturer of the Translation Studies Department Olha Korinska and Deputy Chairman of the Council, lecturer of the Department of Oriental Languages Olena Ovcharenko joined the unique online event “Stand with Ukraine on the educational front”, organized by Progresilni and the Office of Support for the Scientist.

Speakers of the event were:1) Olha Kesarchuk – administrator of the Petro Yatsyk Program for Ukrainian Studies, University of Toronto, Canada; 2) Markus Frome – Professor of the Department of Biotechnology and Functional Genomics of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (Wildau, Germany); 3) Anna Bobak – Science for Ukraine project, University of Stirling (Scotland).

During the webinar, representatives of foreign higher education institutions and programs that support Ukrainian educators talked about international programs and their implementation practices. Lecturers had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the programs that are currently available for scientists from Ukraine, and also discussed in detail specific questions regarding participation.

In general, the received information will be useful for young scientists of our university, and will be discussed at the next meeting of the Council.
