Extended algebraic seminar at LTSNU
16.11.2022
On November 15, the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, despite the massive rocket attacks, held an extended algebraic seminar online.
Among those present were, in particular, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok; Head of the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yurii Zhuchok; the department staff: Ph.D. in mathematics and physics, senior lecturer Olena Toichkina; Ph.D. in mathematis and physics, Associate Professor Yuliia Zhuchok; postgraduate students of specialty 111 Mathematics, as well as master’s students of specialty 014 Secondary Education (Mathematics).
The main speaker of the seminar was Alla Lutsenko, a recent graduate of our postgraduate school in mathematics, who presented her own scientific results to the scientific community on the topic of “Quasigroups with reversibility properties”.
Particular attention in the work was paid to the reversibility properties of algebras, since objects with such properties have a wide range of applications in cryptography and coding theory. After the presentation, the participants of the seminar asked various questions to the Ph.D. degree holder, resulting in an interesting discussion. The scientific supervisor of the speaker, Fedir Sokhatskyi, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University emphasized that the presented work was tested at many domestic and foreign conferences.
We wish our fellow mathematicians further fruitful work, new scientific achievements and a successful defense!
