Students majoring in Preschool Education of the ER IPP joined the educational event for the 150th anniversary of Bohdan Lepky’s birthday.
On November 14, on the occasion of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Bohdan Lepkyi and within the national-patriotic education of student youth, students majoring in Preschool Education participated in an educational event dedicated to the life and work of an outstanding Ukrainian poet and cultural figure.
Bohdan Sylvestrovych Lepkyi is a Ukrainian writer, translator, literary critic, professor, active public figure, educator. During the event, students tried to unravel the phenomenon of the generation of the 1900s, which gave the world a whole constellation of Ukrainian authors who thought in European terms, lived and created culture in unison with the European community. Among them, the figure of Bohdan Lepkyi deserves special attention. He is the author of numerous poetry collections, scientific studies, ethnographer, teacher and, finally, a talented person devoted to Ukraine who lived for his country and served its people until his last breath.
