Participation in a scientific conference in Zaporizhzhia

The Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education of the ER ICSTT took part in a scientific conference in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University jointly with UkrNDISpecStal with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held the 15th International Scientific and Technical Conference “New steels and alloys and methods of their processing to increase the reliability and durability of products”.

The Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism prepared and sent 9 theses to the conference.

With the report “Comprehensive studies of the impact of structural component steels and alloys of power equipment products on their machinability and wear” at the conference, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department Valerii Oleksandrovych Kolesnikov  spoke at the conference.

It was a useful experience for our colleagues, scientists from different parts of the country and the world had the opportunity to share their achievements in the field of materials science and discuss it with the participants of the meeting.

The result of this year’s conference will be a collection, which will include 60 theses of authors from various universities of Ukraine and the world.

Scientific opinion is indomitable and unconquered – so scientists from various universities of Ukraine, in particular from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, continue to do science despite any obstacles.
