The first professional steps of marketing students in Europe
11.11.2022
On October 20-21, Yelyzaveta Serebriakova, a 2nd-year student majoring in 075 “Marketing” (OP “Marketing”) participated in an International Conference.
The international conference and fair at the same time – GasShow2022 was held at the Warsaw International Exhibition Center EXPO XXI (Poland). It is the world’s largest LPG/CNG/LNG industry event. Yelyzaveta received an invitation to this event as a marketer-regional sales manager from the VersusGas company, in which she takes her first steps as a marketer in the country of the European Union using the experience of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Poltava). It was a very powerful event, where it was possible to gain invaluable professional experience and put into practice the knowledge gained at the university.
Yelyzaveta is very satisfied that she can successfully combine studying at a university, scientific activity and work as a marketer: “I am proud to be a student of the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, and I hope that my success as a student will become even more noticeable, because the acquired knowledge is immediately supported by practice.”
The example of Yelyzaveta Serebriakova is not the only one regarding the use by students of the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship of the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in professional adaptation during a forced stay abroad as a result of the war. It also helped Maryna Krasilnyk, Oleh Tumpakov and others. Some of them are already thinking about the prospect of studying for academic mobility at universities in Poland and Slovakia, using the department’s scientific connections with foreign higher education institutions.
