Intellectual festival of Student Youth of Ukraine

For the first time, the Intellectual Festival of the Student Youth of Ukraine was held as part of the celebration of the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine.

On November 2, as part of the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, the team representing the student self-government of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the Intellectual Festival of Student Youth, which was held at the International Academy of Personnel Management, Kyiv. 

The festival was held in three nominations. There were six teams, 5 teams – institutions of higher education in Kyiv and 1 team from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Lubny.

The organizers of the event were the Youth Department of the City Department of Youth and Sports of Kyiv together with the Luhansk branch of the NOC of Ukraine, whose head is Viktor Vasyliovych Ostretsov.

The main goal of the festival is the support of the student movement, the identification of gifted sport youth, the broad involvement of various segments of the population in physical education and sports.

According to the results of the festival Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Rector Olena KARAMAN was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Committee of Physical Education and Sports for the popularization of national and patriotic education, active participation in the city’s Intellectual Festival of Student Youth. 

The direct organizer of the Festival was the Kyiv Chess Federation in the person of Federation President Oksana VOZOVYK.
