Meeting of the student directorate of the ER IPP

A meeting of the student directorate was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU online.

The Director, Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work and heads of departments were invited to the meeting with the winners.

At the meeting, the head of the directorate congratulated the representatives of the student self-government of the institute and called for coordination of work with the directorate, advisors of academic groups, and departments. She also noted that the activities of the student directorate are guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, current legislation, normative legal acts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the University Charter and the Regulations on Student Self-Government. She emphasized the importance of providing assistance to academic groups of the 1st year.

The Director of the ER IPP spoke about the history of the establishment and traditions of the institute. She drew attention to the fact that the student self-government of the institute not only protect the rights and interests of students, but also make proposals regarding the content of curricula and educational programs, take an active part in the preparation and organization of scientific projects, Olympiads, competitions, etc.

The Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work spoke about the specifics of the work of the student directorate and identified three levels of self-government: academic group, institute, university; proposed the theme of events planned for November.

The head of the Psychology Department wished all students a peaceful sky, success in studies, health, confident professional growth and interesting student years.

At the meeting, issues related to the improvement of the educational process, research work, the awarding of scholarships, the organization of leisure time, health and lifestyle were considered and discussed; conducting organizational, educational, scientific, sports, health and other events during wartime.
