Rector’s meeting with first-year students

On November 1, a meeting of first-year students with the Rector of LTSNU, Olena Karaman, and the head of the Trade Union Organization, Volodymyr Moroz, took place in Myrhorod.

The working visit to Myrhorod began with a meeting with students. During the meeting, Olena Leonidivna spoke about the history, traditions and present of our university. Mrs. Olena identified the main directions of the university’s activities and characterized the ways of achieving them. Volodymyr Petrovych told the students about the legislative basis of the educational process, the rights and responsibilities of students. The participants of the meeting were particularly interested in information about the new areas of activity of the university’s student self-government and the celebration of the Student’s Day. Students studying in Myrhorod told about their initiatives and plans, asked their questions.

After the meeting with the students, the Rector of the University, Olena Karaman, paid a working visit to the city hall of Myrhorod and discussed housing issues regarding the accommodation of university teachers.
