Council of Advisors at the ER IPP

The Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held a meeting of the Council of Advisors of academic groups. 

The meeting was organized via the Meet platform. The Council of Advisors includes experienced teachers who prioritize national dignity, civic responsibility, spirituality, mercy, compassion, love for the chosen profession, etc. in their work with students.

During the meeting, the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work noted that the teachers of five departments of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology are advisors to groups of students of various courses. Their activities are carried out in accordance with the provision on group advisors and are coordinated with the plan of social and humanitarian work.

At the beginning of the academic year in the city of Lubny, advisors of the institute’s departments familiarized applicants with the rules of the internal regulations of the university, with the rights and obligations of applicants, with the features of working on the educational portal; they provide constant psychological and pedagogical support and communication assistance to students (24/7) through messengers, conduct systematic conversations on issues of education, upbringing, preservation of psychological and physical health in wartime, etc.

The Council of Advisers considered a number of issues regarding the preparation and holding of events in the 2022‒2023 academic year (in particular, in November – Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, World Science Day, International Students’ Day, etc.); drew attention to the specifics of their organization and the importance of participation by students of various specialties in the conditions of war.

The Council noted the use of an individual approach to the personality of every student, improvement of communication skills, activation of initiative, formation of leadership qualities, promotion of the discovery of creative abilities, and thus the development of professional competence of future specialists by the ER IPP advisors.
