Searching for new partners at the FNS

The work of finding new partners abroad for cooperation in scientific, grant activities and internships of teachers and students continues at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
On October 19, 2022, an online meeting was held with the founder, president and general director, The Grassroots Institute (Canada), head and executive editor of Grassroots Journals, Dr. Hasrat Arjjumend. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics of Sciences, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Natalia Matsai, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences for Research, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Gardening and Ecology Iryna Kyrpychova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences for Educational Work, Olha Gubska, senior lecturer of the Department of Gardening and Ecology, Kateryna Berezenko, senior lecturer of the Department of Gardening and Ecology, and Oksana Husakova, teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages by professional direction.
Natalia Matsai presented the directions of the faculty’s activities, after which the interlocutors agreed on the format for the participation of representatives of The Grassroots Institute in the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Natural Sciences: Projects, Research, Perspectives”, discussed further steps regarding joint projects, publications and scientific events. Anatolii Zhuchok raised a question about the possibility of participation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in joint grant projects with The Grassroots Institute.
Mr. Arjjumend has been cooperating with higher educational institutions of Ukraine since 2017 on issues of rational nature management, organic farming and management in agriculture and is interested in expanding the network of partners of The Grassroots Institute among higher education institutions that train graduates in natural sciences and agriculture.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of The Grassroots Institute wished our country a speedy victory and the establishment of peace.
