Meeting of leaders of the Сareer Development Center with students

On October 19, a meeting of leaders of the Сareer Development Center with students was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The purpose of the meeting was to acquaint students with the work of the center, its structure and tasks.

Valentyna Olehivna Vovk, the new head of the Center, addressed the students and  highlighted the following:

• The main orientation of the Center is career counseling, assistance in self-realization and training of students as future specialists.
• The purpose of the Center is to help students and graduates solve individual problems when looking for a job.
• The task of the Center is to create conditions for the formation of students’ ideas and practical experience, necessary for planning the image of the professional future.

Valentyna Olehivna also noted that career counseling of students allows to significantly increase the level of professional competence, which in turn helps to solve the issue of employment taking into account personal qualities and wishes.

In order to fulfill the set goals and tasks, the center holds presentations, the purpose of which is to introduce students to education with possible future employers. Students will be informed through e-mails about available vacancies on popular bulletin boards in Ukraine. Seminars and webinars, job fairs, etc. are held.

At the end of the meeting, the students were informed about the creation of a telegram channel, in which every student can ask a question and get a detailed answer and help.
