Meeting of the first-year students with Volodymyr Moroz

Recently, a meeting of the first-year students took place with Volodymyr Moroz, the head of the Trade Union Organization of LTSNU. 

Volodymyr Moroz told the students about the Trade Union, its functions and structure. He focused in detail on the history of the university and student self-government, what are the rights and responsibilities of students.

The Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU is a public organization of the university, the purpose of which is to represent, exercise and protect the educational, socio-economic rights and interests of its members. Joining a trade union is voluntary, without any restriction due to nationality, race, sex, party affiliation or religious beliefs. Every person, starting his or her independent life path, needs support and advice, because probably we are all familiar with the feeling when you face a difficult problem one-on-one, and it seems that no one and nothing will help you. This especially applies to students who are far from their family and friends in a city that will not soon become their home. And quite often it is the advice and support of others that becomes the last saving straw in the vortex of a stormy life.

The Primary Trade Union Organization of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is precisely the organization created for the multifaceted support of trade union members. Great attention is paid to the promotion of educational, scientific and creative activities, “because if you have good abilities in something, you need to develop them.”, Volodymyr Moroz noted 

During the meeting, students asked disturbing questions; the conversation was held in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
