Seminar “Evolution of the Biosphere”

The scientific seminar “Evolution of the Biosphere” was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
On October 17, the Faculty of Natural Sciences held a scientific seminar for students of natural and agricultural specialties on the topic “Evolution of the Biosphere”
The seminar was organized at the initiative of the Department of Gardening and Ecology and dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Natural Sciences in March 2023. The seminar was conducted by Olena BLINKOVA, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Gardening and Ecology. Students of the Faculty were invited to the meeting.
During the seminar, issues related to the stages of galaxy formation, phases of evolution, processes of the formation of the sun and its life cycle, the formation of the hydrosphere and the hypotheses of the origin of life on the planet were considered.
During the meeting, Mrs. Olena spoke about scientific experiments related to the chemical theory of evolution “primordial broth”, biological evolution, the periods of appearance of different types of living organisms and the processes of inhabiting the Earth. Emphasis was placed on clarifying issues related to the effects of factors that influenced the processes of the appearance and disappearance of living organisms on our planet.
At the end of the seminar, Olena Igorivna spoke about the peculiarities of human evolution, the relationship between the human and the environment, and the influence of human on the environment in order to satisfy their own needs.
The professor’s presentation and stories were accompanied by a lively discussion. The students had many questions and their own reasoning and explanations regarding the material of the seminar. At the end of the seminar, the participants exchanged positive impressions and expressed a desire to continue working at seminar classes in a discussion format with Olena Ihorivna.
We thank students and teachers for continuing to study and defend the educational and scientific interests of our country despite the difficult situation.
