Day of Defenders of Ukraine at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

The event which is devoted to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine took place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The 14th of October is a special day for Ukraine, especially during the all-out war. Ukrainian defenders who fight for Ukraine’s independence on the battlefield have become a real symbol of the spirit, invincibility and heroism of the Ukrainian nation. 

The 14th of October is a celebration for every person who loves Ukraine.  This is a holiday of people who devoted their bodies and hearts, who felt their responsibility and involvement for defense of their Homeland. 

In October, students and staff of the faculty organized a donation to help defenders of Ukraine: “14 hryvnas to the 14th of October”. The donation was made by Monobank Collection app. In the interactive form 14 reasons were formed to encourage people donate 14 hryvnias for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. All the willing could be involved to making of charity.

That’s how two thousands of hryvnas were collected and transferred to the charity organization «БФ Кохай та Допомогай», who helps Battalion of Air Assault Troops. 

Moreover, the faculty joined to the charity campaign of National Bank of Ukraine, which is named #СміливаГривня, and continue collection of coins till 31st of October.

We are thankful for our defenders and we are approaching to our victory together!
