The Department of Social Pedagogy congratulated everyone involved in the professional holiday – the International Day of the Social Pedagogue.

On October 2, the whole world celebrates the International Day of the Social Pedagogue. That is why the Department of Social Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology congratulates all social pedagogues including scientists, practitioners and students on a professional holiday. We wish good health, creative inspiration, implementation of all planned projects and success in all professional endeavors for the benefit, development and preservation of our independent country. May every good deed of yours bring us closer to victory. Glory to Ukraine!

We will remind that the International Day of the Social Pedagogue was founded at the XVII International Conference of Social Pedagogues in May 2009 in Copenhagen. Since then, the figure of a social pedagogue has been recognized by the world community as key in the formation of a personality capable of coping with psychological and social troubles. And in modern realities, especially in our country, this profession has gained special relevance. The value of the social pedagogue’s work for society cannot be measured by any indicators.
