Meeting of group leaders with the head of the Trade Union Organization

A meeting of group leaders of the FFL with the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization took place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
On Tuesday, the first headship of the new academic year was held with the participation of the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization, Volodymyr Moroz, heads of all academic groups of the faculty, as well as the administration at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Volodymyr Petrovych addressed the audience with a congratulatory speech. He congratulated everyone on the start of the new academic year and held an excursion into the history of the Alma Mater, as well as the organizational aspects of the work of the student self-government at the university and the work of the Trade Union Organization.
Special attention was paid to the involvement of students in activity in social networks Facebook and Instagram, as this is an extremely important lever in matters of university promotion and career guidance work with future applicants. During the meeting, issues of further events and holidays were also discussed, and at the end, Volodymyr Moroz wished the students success in their studies, good health and a peaceful sky above their heads.
Next, the floor was given to the head of student self-government of the Faculty, Denys Selieverstov, and his deputy, Maksym Minin, who spoke about the organization of educational and social-humanitarian work for the semester, plans for student self-government, and the involvement of students in active life of the Faculty.
The floor was also given to Olha Korinska, Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work, teacher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation and head of the Council of Young Scientists and Students, who emphasized the need to intensify student participation in scientific and international activities, gave her recommendations regarding organization of interaction of group leaders with their academic groups. Liudmyla Ovcharova, Deputy Dean for Academic Work, teacher of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, drew attention to the procedure for awarding academic scholarships, ranking students, coefficients of socio-humanitarian and scientific work in the overall ranking.
The next board of governors is scheduled for the end of October, where representatives of self-government and heads of academic groups will submit an agenda for the organization of festive events during the first half of the year.
