First-year students are members of the Academic Council of LTSNU

The freshmen from the Lubny region became members of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
On September 30, a regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, which included three graduates of educational institutions of the Lubny territorial community:
- Anna Berendiaieva – 1st-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology (Lubny Specialized School of I-III degrees No. 6);
- Ruslana Yevtushenko – 1st-year student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism (Lubny Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 2);
- Alona Kristiian – 1st-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism (Lubny Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 2).
Female students became members of the Academic Council of the university based on the quota of seats from student self-government bodies, which in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” is 10%.
The Academic Council is the highest collegial governing body of the higher education institution, which determines the strategy and prospective directions of the development of the educational, scientific and innovative activities of the university.
From now on, female students from Lubny, together with scientific and pedagogical workers, doctors of science, professors, academics, will solve strategic tasks of the development of LTSNU, which from February 2022 have been located in the Poltava region (the cities of Lubny, Poltava, Myrhorod).
Lubny is proud of its graduates! Good luck to you, girls, in obtaining higher education and developing leadership qualities, which will be needed in the future for the innovative development of the Lubny urban territorial community and Ukraine.
