The journal of LTSNU was included in the Copernicus database

On September 30, the scientific journal of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was included in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus (IC).

On the occasion of the Educators Day, university scientists received a gift from ICI Journals Master List – an international indexing base of scientific journals that evaluates the quality of scientific journals according to more than 100 criteria – the indexing of the journal “Education and Pedagogical Sciences” of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus (IC).

Index Copernicus (IC) is an international scientific metric database that has several tools for evaluating the performance of the world’s best scientific journals, which allow monitoring the influence of scientific works and publications, individual scientists or research institutions.

The journal “Education and Pedagogical Sciences” was indexed in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus (IC) based on the verification of information from the evaluation questionnaire and analysis of issues for 2021.

Index Copernicus experts set the value of Index Copernicus Value (ICV). ICV 2021 = 48.35.

The obtained ICV score for 2021 is reflected in the ICI Journals Master List 2021 as well as in the Journal Passport.

According to the editor-in-chief of the journal, Rector of the University Olena Karaman, this event is evidence of the international recognition of the journal, the powerful composition of the editorial board, and the quality of the authors’ scientific publications. She assured that indexing the journal in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus (IC) is an important step towards its promotion to more authoritative databases – Scopus / Web of Science and category A.
