Educators Day in the Myrhorod community

Scientific and pedagogical workers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University joined the celebration of the Educators Day in the Myrhorod community.

Since the end of June, three educational structural subdivisions of the university and two professional colleges have been carrying out educational activities in Myrhorod. Scientific and pedagogical workers actively joined the life of the city, started cooperation with educational institutions of the whole community. The modern network of education of the Myrhorod urban territorial community is a single strong educational team of more than 30 institutions.

On September 30, a professional holiday was celebrated in Myrhorod. Antonina Nikitchenko, head of affairs of the executive committee, congratulated the education workers on behalf of the mayor. Mrs. Antonina thanked the teachers for their conscientious work and their contribution to our Victory.

Tetiana Kolybelnik, the head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Myrhorod City Council, congratulated her colleagues on the holiday and thanked them for their pedagogical, educational and patriotic work. At the meeting, the representatives of the structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were warmly greeted.

Special words of thanks were expressed to the employees of educational institutions, who defend the right to peaceful life and education with weapons in their hands. They also remembered the names of the managers and teachers of our university who are defending our country today. In particular, Volodymyr Horelik, director of the Rubizhne Professional College of LTSNU. 

A minute’s silence was held to honor the memory of Heroes who died in the war.

Today, education in our country is another front on which the struggle for a new generation of Ukrainians is taking place.
