Participation in the International Conference in Poland

The professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business took part in the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference in Poland.

Thus, on September 26, Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Viktor Trynchuk spoke at the XI International Scientific Conference in Poland, one of the organizers of which was Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The theme of the event concerned modern trends in the development of knowledge in the field of science and defined modern economic problems.

The professor of LTSNU spoke at the plenary session with the report “Tourism in the conditions of war: the experience of Ukraine” (“Turystyka w warunkach wojny: doświadczenia Ukrainy”). In particular, Viktor Trynchuk talked about the problems of the development of the tourism industry in the conditions of martial law. A scientific discussion was also held in the following areas:

• The risk of war in the modern world.
• The risk of war in Ukraine.
• What happens to tourism during war?
• Chernobyl zone as a cultural phenomenon.
• Dark tourism (thana tourism).

The work of the conference was attended by scientists and representatives of business practice from all over the world, economic organizations, authorities and local governments.

The participants had the opportunity to listen to the interesting reports, exchange knowledge, views and experience, as well as establish new contacts and acquaintances.
