EU Study Days – 2022

The student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages joined the EU Study Days 2022 by the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
Kateryna Grechyshkina, student of the 4th year of the specialty “Secondary education. Language and literature (Spanish, English)” successfully passed 2 stages of selection to the EU Study Days, which included an application form and online testing to test the knowledge on European topics. Thus, in the period from September 20 to October 31, Kateryna and other participants from all over Ukraine will listen to lectures from leading speakers, including diplomats and well-known experts from the EU and Ukraine.
The format of the project involves active discussions and live communication, and most importantly, gaining new knowledge about the European Union and relations between Ukraine and the EU.
The course consists of 10 modules on the following topics:
- 1. Openning. Ukraine-EU relations.
- 2. European institutions, law and values.
- 3. Economic and trade relations in the EU. Budget policy.
- 4. European integration of Ukraine: components, implementation of the Association Agreement, EU assistance, opportunities from EU programs.
- 5. European neighborhood policy and the Eastern Partnership.
- 6. EU policy in the field of overcoming information traps. Disinformation, fakes and manipulation – how to detect and refute.
- 7. The single digital market. Cyber security, digital rights.
- 8. European Green Course.
- 9. Migration and border management.
- 10. EU communication for its citizens and Ukrainians.
EU Study Days unite those who share European values, seek to learn more about the European Union, as well as find like-minded people with whom it is possible to exchange experience, implement joint initiatives and together create the future of Ukraine as a European state.
On September 22, the participants joined the first meeting, which was attended by Matti Maasikas – EU Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Viktoria Davydova – Press and Information Officer, EU Delegation to Ukraine, diplomats, experts, teachers and graduates of previous years.
