Dedication to students at the ICA

On September 16, a celebratory concert for the Knowledge Day and the dedication to students was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts.

At the concert, a welcoming speech was given by Acting Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts Nelia Nazarenko, who presented the first-year students with badges – a symbol of belonging to the large university staff.

Musical greetings were given by Yaroslava Tsiulina, 2nd-year student majoring in “Musical Art”, and a Karyna Varfolomieva, 3rd-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Musical Art”.

Daria Vorotnyk, first-year student majoring in “Choreography” and Ihor Afrykanskyi, gave an unforgettable dance “Soul”. The folk dance ensemble of the ER ICA “Rozmai” danced “Cossack”. The right to read the oath, which students must carry throughout their studies, was given to two first-year students. The celebration was crowned by the anthem of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko  National University performed by students. After the concert, first-year students traditionally met with their advisers, mentors, who will become true friends over the next four years.

On September 19, a meeting of first-year students who study full-time and remotely was held with the deputy directors of the ER ICA Rostyslav Pidpaly and Alona Tereshchenko. They told the history of the university, its structure, conducted an instruction on how to behave during an air raid, and also provided information about the mixed education system.

We wish the first-yearstudents an interesting and unforgettable student life, to acquire a large amount of knowledge that will help in the future professional field, to meet new friends; inexhaustible inspiration, because it is exactly what is needed for creative specialties.
